The reason I chose a Stocktake UK franchise was that I wanted to have the flexibility of self-employment, plus still wanted to work in the Hospitality industry.
Within a year I had a diary full of different pubs, clubs and restaurant, over the last 11 years it’s been a very successful business.
Before moving into Stocktaking I worked in a number of management roles within the Hospitality industry. This covered Bars, Clubs and Education.
As a Stocktaker in Colchester, most of my jobs are single handed during the month. At the start it was a high percentage of national account work, now it’s mainly private clients.
I’m a proud Season ticket holder at Northampton Rugby and I enjoy going to live music and out for meals. I also enjoy going for long walks with my rescue greyhound “Star”.
It’s a good work life balance, the more you put in to it, the more you get out of it.
